ENSTIB, A WOOD ENGINEERING SCHOOL OPEN TO THE WORLD

ENSTIB is the only French public engineering school that trains generalist engineers and researchers capable of addressing the challenges faced by companies in the forest-wood sector and the natural fiber industry. At the heart of the “Campus Bois,” ENSTIB acts as a catalyst for the development of innovations through constant interactions between research laboratories, technology transfer centers, and industry professionals. Student and faculty exchanges, along with collaborations with academic and industrial partners at the international level, are integral to ENSTIB’s educational programs and activities.

By the end of their first year, all engineering students (whether in apprenticeship or regular programs) complete an 8- to 12-week internship in an English-speaking country. They can also choose to spend a semester at a partner university.

Thanks to academic partnerships with renowned foreign institutions and ENSTIB’s involvement in several international networks (Agreenium, Innovawood, NFZ, Erasmus Forestry Network), engineering students have numerous opportunities to enhance their skills through exchange or degree programs, as well as internships abroad.

ENSTIB aims to further its international reach by creating new programs entirely taught in English and by offering some specialized courses in English. It also plans to open two international semesters for foreign students. As such, ENSTIB is a natural partner for foreign institutions looking to develop exchanges and partnerships in the field of wood sciences.

The International Relations Team

To assist with your projects, ENSTIB has a team of teachers and administrative staff. Each year, students are presented with all available mobility opportunities. The team also supports foreign delegations on campus throughout the year.
